I’m Zac Martin, a Planning Director at Ogilvy Melbourne.

Before this I freelanced for two years, transitioning from digital and content strategy into brand and comms planning. Prior to that I spent five years at creative agency Cummins&Partners as a Digital Planning Director and before that at George Patterson Y&R.

My side hustle is Grassroots Distilling Co.

Pigs Don’t Fly is a blog I started more than a decade ago about brands, technology and entrepreneurship. It was nominated for Media and Marketing Blog of the Year in Mumbrella’s Reader Choice Awards (2009) and back when ranking blogs was cool it reached #21 in the Top Australian Marketing Pioneer Blogs. Mumbrella also listed me as one of five bloggers to follow.

I’ve tried crowd-funding an invention, built and sold a number of content websites, judged award shows and have written for Mumbrella, Marketing Magazine, and a bunch of other places.
